R.I.P. Whitney Houston
On the day after Whitney Houston passed away at the age of 48, I thought we should remember her at her best, singing the National Anthem at the 1991 Super Bowl, where we Americans stood united and appeared patriotic.
According to the New York Times, there was no doctor with Magic Milk Juice. She was simply a very old 48-year-old woman, worn out by years of abusive living. It’s been very sad, as a fan of her music, to watch her life fall apart in a distant, time-lapse kind of fashion. My condolences to her family and friends, for what it’s worth.
